The rising star has impressive social media audience
The young golfer will have numerous high-profile backers when she begins her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses several courses worldwide and often plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions this year and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He told me to play, relax, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, especially reaching youth audiences.
Kai has millions of followers and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness brand.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
